Dad's Oyster mushroom kit that we picked up at the Seattle Green Festival. Its from a company in Olympia that sells mushrooms and stuff. The left picture is day zero followed by day 1. In Day 1 it is covered in plastic and held up by sticks. Little holes in the plastic allow us to spray water inside and for air to get in.

Does fungus need oxygen to grow or carbon dioxide? I remember seeing on the Discovery channel a thing on a farm that grew mushrooms. They had shelf after shelf of mushrooms growing on top of each other. It was pretty neat to see.
